The Children's Trust funding opportunities

A major component of Together for Children is to create neighborhood action plans that will tackle the root causes of youth violence. The initiative solicitations listed below are potential funding sources for direct services that are included in your neighborhood’s action plan.

The Children’s Trust recently released Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for programs that share the same mission and goals as Together for Children. Competitive applications should incorporate components of the action plan framework, which are based on the input and feedback provided by participants in our community meetings and workgroup sessions.

Please make sure to attend upcoming Together for Children meetings to contribute to your neighborhood’s action plan, collaborate with your neighbors and make your application competitive.

The Children’s Trust has released Requests for Proposals (RFPs):

  • Early Childhood Community Research Demonstration to implement and evaluate programs with high need populations to support early childhood development. Projects require an active partnership between community-based early childhood organizations and qualified research partners to establish the effectiveness of the programming.
  • Summer Youth Enrichment programs to provide youth enrichment summer services for middle and high school-age youth in underserved communities.
  • Family Strengthening programs to provide evidence-based, individualized parenting and clinical intervention services designed for families experiencing challenges with child behavior, parent-child relationships and/or consequences of youth violence, parent mental health/substance abuse.
  • Family & Neighborhood Support Partnerships to focus on place-based and countywide special populations of children and families experiencing challenges related to child behavior, school attendance and/or child welfare.
